Mark Tunny Uses Patience, Captures Anderson Event
ANDERSON, Ind. (July 4 , 2015)
— Mark Tunny used patience to capture the Interstate Auto Auction Winged Outlaw Figure 8 Series (WOFS) event Saturday night at Anderson Speedway. The win came in Tunny’s first career WOFS start. A near capacity crowd was on hand to witness the second stop on the 2015 WOFS calendar.

Tunny witnessed two different leaders make contact with slower cars at the intersection before he inherited the lead on lap 27. Early race leader Austin Tunny began to check out on the field before making contact with Mike Hadley Jr. on lap 19. Ben Tunny assumed the point until he made contact with Dennis Whisman on lap 26. Mark Tunny assumed the lead at that point and never looked back en-route to his first career WOFS victory and a $1500 payday. Full Story
